Update for the Week!

Boy, do my kids love the mower!!!  They had a blast sharing time with Daddy on the mower.  When it was Kali's turn to ride the mower, Hoyt and I watched Kali and Daddy from the screened in porch!  Hoyt was screaming in excitement watching them.  Toooo cute!

I wanted to thank Brianna for watching the kids on Tuesday in such short notice as Cathy (day care babysitter) had some mold issues.  The kids had fun with Daddy and then Brianna in the early afternoon.  Sissy did Kali's hair.  She looked adorable.  Hoyt cuddled with sissy at nap time!!!  Brianna said the kids were very good!!!

Tuesday evening we got a surprise visit from Brianna and a few of her friends, Clint, Gage, and Tori.  They had went to Red Lobster to eat and the guys decided to dress like geeks/nerds and the girls dressed nicely.  Brianna said they got a lot of stares!!!  Oh to be young and silly again!!!!

Wednesday night I picked up Jackson so Kali and Hoyt could have a play date and because Laura was getting a wisdom tooth pulled so thought she would need some rest.  We ended up having a water balloon fight.  I think we went through like 20 balloons.  The kids had a ball, but the only one that got really wet was poor little Hoyt.  It was so funny Kali and Jackson were throwing the balloon back and forth and Jackson threw the balloon in Hoyt's direction and Kali didn't catch it.  Anywhoooooo the balloon landed about 6 inches before Hoyt and broke and water went all over him!!!  He started crying.  I think it startled him more than anything.  Jackson immediately ran to Hoyt and said he was sorry and he was like I'm so sorry Lisa. I think he thought I was going to be mad!  They had a great time, I definitely need to buy more balloons!!

Why wouldn't ya have a balloon fight in your tutu!!! :)

Pork Days!!

On Saturday, Gma Holub and I took Jackson, Kali, and Hoyt to the C.P. Days parade and carnival.  The parade was nice, but it wasn't as long as prior years.  I think the weather must have scared some people from enterring.  Hoyt loved the fire trucks!  Kali and Jackson got tons of Kali....so it was a hit!!

After the parade, we went to take the kids on some rides, unfortunately the rides weren't as good as prior years, so Hoyt didn't get to go on any! :(  Kali and Jackson had a great time on the rides.

It was really funny as Kali was enterring to go on one of the rides she saids loudly, "Mom, that guy has a loose tooth, like Kathryn did."  The carni guy immediately stopped smiling. As not only did he have a loose tooth, he had no front tooth.  Kathryn her great friend had daycare just lost her tooth so it was a big deal!!!!  Kids can be sooooo honest.

After the rides, Grandma got both Jackson and Kali balloons and had their face painted!  Kali was a beautiful butterfly and Jackson was a protective pirate.  They both looked adorable.  Thank you Grandma for spending the afternoon with us andy buying all their tickets for the rides.  The kids greatly enjoyed themselves!!!!!

I love this picture.  Jackson is acutally looking in the mirror with the corner of his eyes at himself instead of looking at me when I'm taking a picture!!!  PRICELESS!!!

15 Month Check Up!!

On Thursday 7/21/2011, Hoyt had his 15 month check up!  He grew 1 1/4 inches and gained 2 pounds.  He is 30 1/2 inches long (2 1/2 feet) and weighs 22 pounds 3 oz.  He is only in the 17% for weight and 30% for height.  I really don't get how he is only in 17%!  The boy eats all the time.  But he is definitely always on the go, getting into everything, playing all the time, and climbing up anything!!!  He is our energizer bunny.

He definitely is a BOY!  He loves playing with legos and putting lids on everything, loves anything motorized.  He could be on a golf cart or gator every minute of every day!!!

He is about saying 15-20 words.  A couple newer words that he is saying is puppy, apple, deer, bear, baby, uh oh, yucky.....Good thing Daddy hasn't taught him any Garling words!!!! LOL  He knows the sign to "more" and uses that all the time when he eats!  He can also comprehend most things you say!!!  I think he will be like Kali and talking sentences shortly! LOL!!!

Summer FUN!!!

Where has the summer gone!!!!  It always goes WAY TOO FAST!!!!!  On Saturday, Kathryn invited Kali over for a swimming party!  It was the first time Kali has gone swimming outside this year.  It was also Hoyt's first time in a pool!!!  He really enjoyed himself.  He was a little tired, but he was very content in the water and was splashing around!  Thanks for inviting us Jill and Kathryn!!!

After the swimming party, we headed over to Laura and Cory's to visit.  Chad had been putting in some hard wood floors in their cabin so we wanted to see the progress.  It looked awesome.

We had a great time playing outside, riding Laura and Cory's new gator, eatting hotdogs and smores over the fire, catching fire flies, and hanging out with family.  It was a great summer night, even though it was REALLY HOT outside.

Hoyt just loves the Gator, or anything motorized for that matter!!!  He didn't want to get off of it!!

On Sunday, the triplets got their baths!  I think Gma Holub was just as wet as the triplets after she was done!!!  I love bath pictures!!!!  Aren't the triplets just the cuttest!!!!!

Girl's Night

On Wednesday 7/13/2011, Kali and I had a much needed girl's night out to my friend, Wendy Hall's house.  She was having a jewelry party!  Daddy was watching Hoyt.  We had a wonderful time scoping out the new jewelry and trying it on.   Wendy even let Kali model all of her jewelry and even bought her a bracelet for the occasion.  Wendy is one of those people that thinks of everything!!!  Kali definitely loved every minute of it!!!!

Kali even met a new friend named Haven!  They really hit if off!  They were dancing and posing together!  It was pretty cute!  They definitely both have an act for entertaining and being in the spot light.

Wendy also gave Kali one of her most prized positions.....her Anna Nicole Smith blond wig!  Of course, Kali now thinks she is Hannah Montanna when she tries it on!!  She looks adorable in it!!  Thank you so much Wendy!  You always make Kali feel so special!

We couldn't let Hoyt feel left out, so he had to try it on too!  However, Hoyt didn't like it as well as Kali!!!  LOL

Can you say Lion King!?!?!

Amy and Daves Wedding Reception in Iowa!!

On Saturday July 9, Amy and Dave had their wedding reception!  The kids were able to join this festivity.  They had a GREAT time dancing and running around.  Kali even met a boy name Riley (with a mohawk none the less).  Riley is Amy's great nephew.  Kali also made other new friends, but she was pretty partial to Riley.  This was definitely Kali's element!  I don't think she hardly left the dance floor.  Hoyt had a great time too, walking around and listening to the music!!!  He was a trooper!!!

Thanks to Laura and Cory for watching the kids while we took pictures prior to the reception.  We know you guys are very busy with your 4 little ones....so it meant a lot to us!!!

At the reception they had fun little costumes to put on!  Everyone had a lot of fun with those!!!
