Hoyt had his 2 year check up on Thursday, 4/19. He weighed 25 lbs 15 oz. (23%) and was 34 1/2 inches (53%) tall. They projected him being 5'9" or 5'10".....so we will see!
He has a memory like a hawk! When we were walking into the doctors room, he saw the table, he immediately froze, you could tell that he knew he was going to get shots. When we started undressing him to get weighed, he started crying....poor little guy. Then when it actually came time to get his Hepatitis A Vaccine he cried more in anticipation.....and then barely cried when getting the shot. He is a tough little guy! I tried distracting him by talking about his band aid. He was like "No band aid!" Then he quickly removed the band aid and threw it on the floor. I picked it up and tried putting it back on and he tore it off again and threw it in the garbage. There was a little blood where he got poked and he just wiped it off with his hand and gave me this look......in baby language I think he was cussing me out!!! LOL!!!
Crazy....I don't remember Kali ever remembering going to the doctors office meant getting shots! Strange how two kids can be so alike in some ways and so different in others!

Let's Play Ball!!
On Saturday, 4/14/2012, we went to Kennedy High School to watch my niece, Taylor play softball for the 14U Blue Devils team! Both my brothers, Brad and Brian coach her team! HOLY COW did she do amazing. She was definitely having a great day playing ball. In her first game she had a single, triple, and a over the fence homerun!!! YES....a HOMERUN!!!! Taylor is only 13 and she set that ball a sailing over the left field fence! It was amazing!!! I was glad I was able to witness her first homerun!!! CONGRATS Taylor!!!
Here is Taylor with her homerun ball!!!
Taylor and her proud coaches!!!
On her 2nd game she was only up twice and she hit a single and another triple!!! The Blue Devils won their 2 games!!! They did a great job!
Congratulations Taylor on an AWESOME day of softball! You definitely were the MVP!!!

Happy Birthday Hoyt!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOYT!!! You were born today (2 years ago) at 11:43 AM Sunday 04/18/2010! HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY!!!! :) The picture below is when he was one day old and still at the hospital!
We celebrated Hoyt's Birthday on Friday 4/13/2012 at the CP Library! We had a wonderful turn out with friends and family helping Hoyt celebrate his special day! I think Hoyt was a little surprised that the party was for him!
Hoyt got tons of presents...our family and friends sure know how to give Hoyt exactly what he needs/wants! :) He got his first fishing pole from sissy, a play pony from Grandma Dolores, a tricycle from Uncle Brian and Aunt Laura and tons of clothes, pjs, books, sandals, balls, guns, and other accessories. Thank you so much! It took Hoyt a little while to get on the tricycle and get the nerve to touch his pony...remember he has a fear of dogs....but after a little while he came around!

A family photo...it is pretty rare to get a family pic..maybe 1 or 2 a year!

Below are two pictures one with Gma Dolores and the other with Gpa Holub convincing Hoyt that the pony wouldn't hurt him! :) I didn't actually get any pictures of him making peace with the horse..but believe me he rides that horse at home!!!
Austin also playing with Gpa Holub's Hat! I love this picture!!!
Ben eating some ice cream on Grandma's lap!
Singing Happy Birthday to Hoyt! He did a great job blowing out his candles!!
I think one of Hoyt's favorite parts of his birthday was the clean up. My little boy is a helper!!!! He loves to throw things away in the garbage, he put away folding chairs, and I think he vacuumed for over a half hour...he even was working up a sweat! I hope he continues to be my helper!!! His sister Kali, hasn't quite figured it out yet....she only cleans when it fits her schedule! How two kids can be so different!!
Below is a picture of Kali relaxing LOL!

Happy Easter!!!
Happy Easter everyone!!! The kids had a great time decorating eggs. Kali did a great job, however Hoyt was a little handful. Hoyt's first egg he tried to color, he crushed the egg in his hand....good thing it was hard boiled so it limited the mess! :)
CJ in Gma Roseberry's arms!
Kid's masterpiece!
Finding the Easter Eggs Easter morning! Hoyt and Kali really had fun finding the eggs in the house!
The kids were having so much fun looking for eggs that they didn't even pay attention to their Easter baskets...but then Hoyt saw one of his presents a BALL!!! He loves BALLS!!!
Easter with the Washburn's started out with their egg hunt outside. They have a huge yard and the kids love to run and look for eggs spread out in their yard!!!
Thank you Grandma for all the wonderful gifts you gave the kiddos!!!
Bella and Hoyt!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE! Its hard to get a good picture with Hoyt...he is easily distracted!
Then we headed to Gma and Gpa Holub's for Easter at their new house!!! Their house and property is amazing!! The kids had fun exploring their new surroundings and hanging out with all their cousins. What a beautiful day!!!
