Holub Christmas

 

Our first Christmas to start off the holiday season was our Holub's immediate family Christmas on Sunday 12/22/2013.  Even though we had gotten a lot of snow that Sunday morning we all made it for brunch at Mom and Dad's house!  It was a lot of fun this year!  Everyone had a wonderful time!!There was awesome food, great drinks, hanging out with family, and everyone got spoiled!!!  What more can you ask for!!!  A picture of all the grand kids!!!  We had to take quite a few pictures to end up with the final result!!! :)

Thanksgiving

Finally getting to blogging about Thanksgiving!!! Gee it has just been so busy lately!!  We had a great Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving just seems a little more relaxed and you can really enjoy visiting with family.  On Thanksgiving Day we went to my Aunt Vicki's to celebrate the Holidays.  The food was yummy and visiting was wonderful!!!  The kids always have a blast hanging out!!!  It definitely is a louder social event with all the kiddos, but that is what makes it fun!!!

On Saturday after Thanksgiving we celebrated the Washburn Thanksgiving!  Again more yummy food and ate way too much!!!  We had both smoked turkey and turkey from the oven plus all the other fixings...YUMMY!!!  But, holy cow it was like 55 degrees outside...it was so nice!!!  Kindra's family wasn't able to make it because they were picking up a puppy in Colorado, so not as many kiddos as normal, but everyone had a good time!!!

 

 

Hoyt wasn't feeling the best so he took a nap with Sissy!!

 

Also, the day after Thanksgiving we received a visit from The Elf on the Shelf.  He has been a HUGE hit at our house!!!  A few hiding spots he has hidden.....

 

 

Kali has named our Elf "Gift"!  He definitely loves heights...I think he is a little scared of Hoyt and what Hoyt may do to him...even though kids are not supposed to touch the elf or he will lose his magic.

 

 

Where did November go????

We celebrated two milestone birthdays in November.  Brianna turned 21 on November 3rd and Grandma Holub turned 60 on November 15th...but Gma doesn't look a day older than 50! Here is to aging gracefully! :)  Happy Birthday!

 

Brianna had blue/pink hair at our brunch because she celebrated the night before and dressed up as a mermaid for Halloween and her 21st birthday!

 Happy Birthday Miss Brianna!  We love you!!!

 

A few days after Brianna turned 21, Brianna and Clint went to the Dominican Republic with Brianna's family and some friends and had a wonderful vacation!!! 

 

 

 We weren't able to stay too long at Gma's 60th birthday party because Kali wasn't feeling well so I only took a couple of pictures. :(  Happy Birthday Grandma/Mom! :) We love  you!!!

TRICK OR TREAT

Thursday wasn't the best weather for trick or treating.  I think the day before and the day after Halloween would have been perfect weather wise, we just didn't get that lucky this year. But, it could have been worse, it could have been raining.  The kids weren't feeling the best this year.  They both had colds, so I think we only trick-or-treated for about 30-45 minutes. 

Kali was a Candy Corn Caster and Hoyt was a cowboy!  Go figure!!! :)

 

The kids really didn't need to do much trick or treating because Brianna and Clint spoiled them with a bucket full of candy and fun things!!! Thank you Sissy and Clint!!!!

 

 

Nash's 1st Halloween.  He was Count Cutie!!!  I think he pulled that off really well.  Nash also started walking on Halloween day!!!  How awesome is that!

Grandma and Grandpa Holub were able to come visit.  The kids had most of their costumes off, so we had to do a quick dress up!  Couldn't see Hoyt's eyes...so took another pic.
