Visit with the Triplets

On Saturday 4/6/2013, me and the kids went over to see the triplets for the afternoon.  It has been a while since we have had a play date so it was very nice!  The kids played really well together.  Its nice that their big basement isn't finished either so the kids have a lot of room to play and can't make too much of a mess!!! 

Kali and Jackson played the Wii...Jackson and Kali both like the dance games, but Kali couldn't get the hang of bowling....but Jackson is AMAZING!!!!  He gets a mark in almost every frame!!!!  Way to go Jack man!!!

 

I attempted to get some good pictures.  But its hard with 4 2 year olds!!!

Kali had hit Jackson and Jackson fell off his scooter and Ben hurried quickly to give his BIG brother a nice BIG hug!!!  Ben is such a sweetheart!  He definitely always thinks of his other brothers first!!!

Here are some random outside picture of my kids a couple warmer spring days in April....we haven't  had very many that is for sure.  Hopefully the weather will change very soon!!!

 

 

So far Kali has had 1 Tball practice and 2 of them have gotten canceled.  So, we had to do some practicing at our house!  Kali did really well!!! She is a natural!!! :)

 

 

 

 

Washburn Easter 4/7/20213

We had a wonderful day for the Washburn Easter last Sunday 4/7/2013.  We did a brunch themed Easter.  It was delicious.  It worked out very nicely cuz by the time the kids went to look for eggs it was beatiful outside.  The kids had all day to play and hang out!!!  It was over 70 degrees....the kids were loving it!!!

Tooth Fairy Has Been Busy!!

Holy Cow the tooth fairy has been busy. Kali lost her front tooth on St Paddy's Day and then she lost another bottom tooth on April Fools Day!!!  I guess it has to be a holiday in order for Kali to lose a tooth! :)  Total teeth she has lost is four!!!  Kali has pulled out 2 teeth with help from Jackson's aunt Heidi, one from Sissy's boyfriend, Clint, and the School's Secretary.  Thank goodness, Mommy has not had to pull any out. 

The below pictures are from St Paddy's Day when Clint pulled it out!!!  Daddy was out of town so wasn't able to do it.  Thank you Clint!!!

 

Sooooooo Brave....a little tear until she found out that Clint actually pulled the tooth out and then there was a smile!!!  A toothless smile! :)

Easter Festivities

On Saturday March 23, Gma Holub and I took the kiddos to see the Easter Bunny at the CP Primary School.  This is put on by the Lions Club.  They have many games and prizes you can win.  The kids had a lot of fun!  Hoyt even liked the Easter bunny this year.  He sat on his lap, gave him a hug, and  gave him some knuckles! :)  We were so happy that there were no tears this year!!! :)

We saw so many friends and buddies.  Hoyt was a little fond of Miss Amelia, his old daycare buddy.  He was very giddy and kept smiling at her!!!

The kids had fun finding the eggs this year.  At our house the Easter Bunny hides the eggs inside.  The kids found all the eggs!  Yah!!!  Then we had a surprise visitor later in the morning............ a knock on the door.....it took us a while to get out there and to have the kids get shoes and coats on...but when they did, they were very surprised!!!!

 

 

What an awesome Sissy!!!!  Always thinking of her little sister and brother!  The kids were so excited.  Brianna and Clint had also hid eggs outside and got them each a nice present that was hidden in the yard.  So very thoughtful!!!

 

 

Sissy and Clint gave Hoyt this awesome toy gun and got Kali a craft to do!!!  Sissy always know just what the kids love!!!

 

 

Easter afternoon we went over to Gma and Gpa Holubs to have a wonderful dinner!!!  Don't the Popelka boy's look adorable in their pink shirts and navy/pink ties!!!  SO PRECIOUS!!!  Of course, Uncle Brad had to give them a little grief for wearing pink!!! 

 

 

 

 

Hoyt fell asleep with his new toy shot gun!!!  He is a true cowboy at heart!!!

 

 

Easter Sunday was also Gpa Holub's Birthday!  Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!!  Grandpa is holding his BIG mushroom stick that he got from the Popelkas...he will be sure to find some mushrooms this year!!! :)  I hope everyone had a great Easter.

 

We still have one more Easter to celebrate with the Washburns on Sunday April 7th!  More pictures to come!!
