Grandma Dolores' Surprise Birthday Party!!!

On Friday October 11th, we surprised Grandma Dolores for her 60th birthday party at the Fieldhouse.  It was a Duck Dynasty theme party because Grandma loves that show.  That is why everyone is wearing camouflage......and boy was she surprised!! It is hard to keep secrets from Grandma, but we pulled it off.  Tasha put most of it together and it turned out awesome!!!

Happy 60th Birthday Dolores.  Her birthday was actually on October 22nd, so having her party 2 weeks prior was a real shocker!!!

 

Grandpa's Farm and Taylor's Volleyball Game

A couple weeks ago, when it was still warm, I took the kids to Grandpa's farm to see the baby lambs, cows, ride the Ranger and combine.  The kids always have a blast at the farm!!!  The night went extremely fast!!

 

Grandpa's neighbor was nice enough to give the kids a round on the combine!!! 

 

We went to Taylor's Volleyball game at Jefferson on Tuesday 10/15/2013.  With Kali's soccer schedule and other schedule conflicts, we were finally able to make it to a game.  Taylor played really well.  She is playing on the JV team as a Freshman...way to go Taylor!!! Good Game!

 

 

 

Alburnett Homecoming

Saturday Oct 4th, was Alburnett Homecoming!!!  We had been canning sour kraut that day, so we had to hurry and get cleaned up to go take some pictures.  However, Chad stayed at home to continue the canning!!! LOL there is a funny story about this, but I can't really share! :)

Each year, I think the girls get dressier and dressier....remember those days when we wore sweaters and skirts.....not anymore!

Savannah went with the boy she has been seeing/dating for a while, Brice.  They make a really sweet couple!!

 

Isn't Savannah's dress Gorgeous!  Savannah looked so beautiful!!! I think this is my favorite dress yet! Hopefully, Kali can fit into some of them when she gets older!!!!

Hoyt was feeling pretty special hanging out with all the beautiful girls!  You can't really see, but we told him to stick his thumbs up, however he stuck both of his index fingers up!! LOL...maybe he was saying he was number 1.

CONGRATULATIONS To The Happy Couple!

 

Congratulations are in order for Brianna and Clint.  Clint proposed to Brianna last Wednesday October 2nd and Brianna said, "YES!.  Needless to say, we were all pretty surprised on the proposal...including Brianna. :)

Clint had been working with the Jeweler for about a month and he only had the ring in his possession for less than 24 hours when he popped the question.  Clint did ask Chad for Brianna's hand in marriage about 5 minutes before he proposed to Brianna.  HA!!!!

He proposed to Brianna as she was getting out of her tree stand from a morning hunt!  The day before Brianna had shot her first doe.....so she had 2 big days in a row! LOL!!!

Brianna and Clint stopped over on Wednesday night to show us the beautiful ring that Clint had made for her and for us to congratulate them in person!  Brianna LOVED the ring!!!  It is just what she wanted!!!  It is a really beautiful ring....good job Clint!!!  We celebrated for a short time because Brianna and Clint had to make their rounds and visit other family.
