Savannah and Hunter's 8th Grade Graduaton!

Yes, it is true, both Savannah and Hunter will be in high school next fall.  On Friday morning we went to Alburnett's 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony.  Both Savannah and Hunter looked amazing.  Savannah had gotten her nails and hair done for the occassion and she was gorgeous in her gold dress!!! Both of them received honors for their grades they received in the last quarter.  We are so proud of them on all of their accomplishments!!!

Remi (my niece) was voted by the 8th grade class to be an usher for the ceremony.  She will be in 8th grade next year.

Kali's First Injury

On Thursday May 19th, Kali hurt her arm at the babysitters by jumping off an indoor slide and falling on her arm. We thought she may have dislocated her elbow, but after going to the doctors and getting xrays, it was determined that she didn't break any bones or dislocate her elbow, she sprained her arm.  Kali loved getting to see her bones on the xray!  She thought that was pretty cool  The doctor sent her home in a sling.  I made Kali pose for a picture and she wasn't very happy!

She received plenty of attention last night from Grandma Holub and Grandma Dolores and her BIG sissy stopped over and bought her a new Barbie doll to make her feel better.  Brianna said it was the "cure all" doll!  That made Kali feel a whole lot better!!!  Kali was in better spirits after getting some TLC from her family, but most of all I think the Barbie helped the little patient the most!!! LOL!!!!

Awards Ceremony

On Wednesday May 18th, Brianna had her Senior Awards Day.  Brianna was presented with 2 awards, Urbana American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship and FMTCS of Shellsburg Scholarship (USA Communications)!  Both of the scholarships were for $500.  Then later that day, Brianna received another scholarship in the mail for the Mary J Boland Scholarship from Fairfax State Savings Bank, which was for $1,000.  WE ARE SO VERY PROUD OF YOU BRIANNA!!!!  Your hard efforts during your high school career and commitment to both your school work and all your activities has paid off!!! 

There are a couple more scholarships that Brianna could possibly get, but she won't be notified until June timeframe!!!  So keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS BRIANNA!!!!!  You have had an amazing high school career!!  We will ALL miss going to all your school functions!!!  You have been a blessing to watch and grow throughout the years!!!  You are a wonderful daughter, sister, friend, and role model to those around you!  Keep up the great work and continue making us proud!!!!  WE LOVE YOU!!!!  XOXOXOXO

Brianna's Graduation Party!!!

We had Brianna's Graduation party at Wakema Park in Center Point on Sunday May 15, 2011!  The weather pulled thru and it turned out to be a wonderful day to celebrate Brianna's BIG DAY!!!  With a lot of planning, preparing, and cooking, the party was a success. 

Brianna and her friend Tess had their graduation parties together!!!  It was a Barbie/Mexican theme due to their nicknames!!  Tess's mom even brought pinatas filled with candy for the occassion!  The lodge was decorated to match perfectly! There were many friends and family celebrating their important day!  Unfortunately, it was a very busy day, and I didn't get many pictures to show all the decorations and all the fun had by all.  Chad did another Barbie cake for Brianna.  It was blue to match Brianna's prom dress last year, he even added all the beading on the back.  Hopefully, I can get some pictures from other family members!!! (I hope!)

Here are some pictures, I did get.  Brianna was happy to pass on the Barbie crown to Kali!!  I know Kali was eager to take it and I think she had it on most of the day!

Not knowing what the weather was going to turn out like, Laura and Cory decided not to bring the triplets to the graduation, in fear of them getting sick!!  So they had some one on one time with Jackson and nephew, Hoyt!!!  It is amazing Jackson has never got Laura and I confused, but both Kali and Hoyt have in certain occassions!!!

Look at those toofers!!!!  Hoyt LOVED the swing.  I think he could have been on there all day!  I know many family members took turns pushing him!

Brianna's last day of school is on Tuesday May 17th.  Then she has Awards day on May 18th.  We already know she is getting one award, we hope there is more to come!  Then her actual Graduation is on Sunday May 22nd!!! 

Brianna's Senior Prom

This post is very past due!  Brianna's Senior Prom was Saturday April 30th.  Brianna and Chris Labs, both Seniors, from Center Point went to prom together as friends!  Brianna looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown!  This was Chris's first time meeting the Washburn/Heineman clan and he was a great sport about it!  I'm sure Brianna told him ahead of time that picture taking is more like a mini family reunion! 

Brianna's cousins, Remi, Alexi, and Shayden were able to see Brianna at the Grand March!  Brianna definitely has lots of fans to come and support her!!!

I love the below picture, it was after the dance and before post prom! Is Brianna pouting?!?!  I don't know, but it was so cute I had to add it!!!

Easter Week

Sorry it has been a while since I have published a post.  We have been really busy.

The week of Easter started by taking Jackson, Kali, and Hoyt to see the Easter Bunny.  Jackson and Kali LOVED him, however Hoyt wasn't the biggest fan!!!

On Good Friday, Aunt Tasha took Kali to a movie, then to her first pedicure, and then out for pizza!  What an awesome Aunt.  Kali had a wonderful time and enjoyed being pampered!!  Thanks Aunt Tasha!!!

On Saturday, Uncle Brian and Kim took Jackson and Kali to the Play Station!  The kids had a blast!!! Plus, it helped me out as I was able to do Easter shopping....yes I  know I waited to the last minute!!!  Thanks Brian and Kim, you made their day so much fun!!!

After the Play Station we colored our eggs.  Kali had a lot of fun doing it this year and I think she did a wonderful job!!

Easter morning we got up and Kali found all of her eggs!!!   We had to help a little!! However, Hoyt did not look for eggs this year, I'm sure he will love it next year!!!

We went to Grandma Roseberry's on Easter Sunday.  The house was full with little ones....This was Ben and CJ's first family outting!!!  We had a great time hanging out with family, loving the babies, and enjoyed some wonderful food!!!  I can't wait too see what next year will be like!?!?!

Unfortunately, Chad was putting Hoyt to sleep so we didn't get a family picture this year!!! Oh well, there is always next year!!!
