Spring Fever!!!!

We had a lot of out door fun this weekend!!!  On Friday, Kali had a "Read and Feed" at school.  Parents/adults can go to their child's class and read.  It was a lot of fun reading to Kali and some of her classmates.  Then we were able to go with them outside for recess.  Here is Kali and one of her friends, Logan, playing on the playground.

On Saturday afternoon after we got Hoyt's pictures taken, we headed outside again for some fresh air!

Playing is some hard work! :) I do have to say that Kali needs to perfect her hide-go-seek skills.  I'm sure she will a little more into the summer.  She is out of practice!

On Sunday, we got the kid's trampoline up!!!  YEAHHH!  Was Kali, one happy girl.   I bet she was on it for about 4 hours yesterday afternoon into the evening.  Needless to say, after she ate dinner, she went to sit with Daddy and watch TV and she literally was out in 1 minute.

2 BIG BULLIES trying to launch Kali!  They sent her flying a few times.  A few times, after Sissy launched her, she caught her too!!!

This is what scared "crapless" looks like! LOL  Daddy was underneath the trampoline poking and prodding Hoyt and making barking/scary sounds.  Good thing BIG SISSY was there to save him! :)

Kali is 5 YEARS OLD!!!!

On Saturday March 3rd, Kali turned 5 years old!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALI!!! Wow how time flies!!!  We had a wonderful princess birthday party for her in the basement of the C.P. Public Library.  Brad and Becky weren't able to make it to the actual birthday party, so they stopped by earlier on Saturday and helped Kali celebrate her special day!

Brad and Becky and the girls got Kali this beautiful outfit, scarf, sunglasses, and flip flops.  Kali will be ready for spring it this stylish outfit!!

I love this action photo with the ball in the air.  There is no way I could do that twice! :)

Thank you Holub family!  It really meant a lot to Kali that you made a special trip out to see her on her birthday!!! :)

Savannah was awesome and did Kali's hair and make up for the event!  Doesn't she look adorable!  Kali picked out the outfit! It was half from Grandma Dolores and Brad and Becky!

Here are some pictures from Kali's special day!  She got so many nice outfits, dresses, swim suits, jewelry, earrings, hair extensions...She definitely will be set for spring and summer!!

A little choker hold never hurt anyone! :)

Re-applying your lipstick is a must at your 5th birthday!!!

Grandpa Holub and Hoyt exchanging hats!!!

Brianna wasn't able to make her birthday because she had to work. :( So she came out on Sunday to visit.  Sissy gave Kali a beautiful Easter dress and a BIG cookie.  She always knows just what to get Kali!  You'll have to wait until Easter to see the dress, but it is sooo adorable!  The above picture is Kali seeing the trampoline we got her for her birthday.  She was excited, but I know she will be even more once it is up!!!

Kali had a wonderful Princess Birthday, however we took the easy route and made brownies...no Barbie cake this year...maybe next year!!  We want to thank all of our wonderful families for taking time out of their busy schedule to celebrate Kali's 5th Birthday.  Thank you for all the fabulous gifts and all your help making Kali's day extra special!!!
Happy Birthday Kali, we love you!!! XOXOXO

Birthday Festivities Beginning!

Uncle Brian and Kim stopped over on Thursday night to wish Kali an early Happy Birthday because they aren't able to make it to her party on Saturday.  Kali was very excited to open her first birthday present!  Brian and Kim always do a great job at knowing exactly what Kali wants.  They got her a tee-ball set and balls and a monster barbie that she really wanted!!!!  Thank you so much Brian and Kim.

Kali and Uncle Brian played catch and practiced hitting.  Kali was doing very well and was even hitting some of Brian's pitches.  She is all geared up for T-ball to start!!!

Kali had a blast dancing and showing off for them!  She loves all the attention!  She had them all to herself since Hoyt went to bed early!

A cute little story to share.....Our home phone rang, we expected it to be a telemarketer so  Brian told Kali to answer it and tell the telemarketer that her mommy wasn't home and to then hang up the phone....so Kali did just that and she came back in to sit down.  When we asked her who it was, she said, "Grandma!" We all started laughing and were all shocked by her answer then we asked, "Grandma Who?"  Kali didn't answer...so I got up to see who had called and it wasn't either Grandma....it was actually a telemarketer.  I'm really not doing the story any justice.....because it really was super funny.  I guess it is one of those stories that you just had to be there.

We had a great time celebrating with Uncle Brian and Kim.  It was really nice for them to see her before her birthday!  Thanks guys!!  We had a wonderful time!!!!

More festivities and pictures to share on Kali's 5th Birthday coming soon!!!!

Weekend Fun!

Kali had her cousin Jackson sleep over last weekend.  They had a wonderful time playing together and hanging out.  They really got along nicely....sometimes they act more like brother and sister than cousins and get on each other's nerves, but not this time.  They got along sooooo well and had a lot of fun being silly!

We were able to visit with the triplets for a short time when we took Jackson home!  This was the first time I saw Austin with no helmet and his scar looks really good!  I was amazed!

Below are a couple of pictures of G'ma Washburn being silly with the kiddos.  At one time all 3 of them were in the camo tunnel....but I didn't get any pictures of that! :)

All Grown UP!!!

On Friday February 24th, Kali got an early birthday present from us and got her ears pierced!!!  She was so excited to get it done!

When we got to Claires, there was a 8 month old little baby getting her ears pierced.  Kali was a little shocked by the babies reaction, but Kali was still very brave and wanted to get hers done as well!  I guess Kali is learning at a young age the price a woman pays to be beautiful!!

Pre Ears Pierced

 Kali getting her ears marked!
 Kali patiently waiting...........
Luckily, they were able to pierce both ears at the same time! Whew!!
Kali being so brave and fighting back tears.  She only had a couple tears fall!  We are so proud of Kali and how BIG of a girl she was!

Post Ears Pierced!  Kali looking FABULOUS!!!  She had to look at herself in the mirror twice, because she really didn't get a good look the first time.  I think she was still stunned! :)

Grandma Holub was able to join in on the fun.  She even bought Kali some new earrings for the occasion!!!  Thanks Grandma Holub for going with us and sharing Kali's special day with her!!!
Kali was soooo happy that night.  She kept saying, "Thank you soooo much mommy!"  "I love you so much!"  "I am soooo happy mommy!"  We definitely made her night.  Actually, the night before I told her we were going to get her ears pierced, she said, "Mom, I am gonna freak out!!!"  Kali is always very animated!!!  My little girl is growing up!!!! Sniff Sniff!!
