Play Date!!!

We had a play date last Friday night with the Popelka's!  As much as the kids needed a play date, so did Laura and I.  The kids had so much fun playing downstairs in their basement.  It's like a kid's dream; a jumping house, many motorized cars, Dance-a-thon on Wii, playing kitchen/restaraunt, and playing school!  The kids had a blast and so did the mom's....and Grandma even was able to join for a little while and show us her dance moves!!!  We spent the night and did a lot of playing the next day too!!!  It was much needed....what else can you do when its 30 below outside!!!!  I swear this winter has been brutal!!!

Taylor's 15th Birtdhay

I'm going a little out of order on my post.  But after this post, I should be caught up!!!  My niece Taylor turned 15 on January 8th.  We had her birthday celebration on Saturday 1/11.  I can't believe next year Taylor will be driving....CRAZY!!!!  Happy Birthday Miss Taylor!!!!

January Updates

A few pictures from January to share!!!

Hoyt and Kali love taking jaccuzzi baths. These were taken at Uncle Jamie's house!  Hoyt told me he wanted to take Jamie's tub home!!! :)

Christmas Morning with Santa and Roseberry Christmas

The kids were so excited and anxious about Christmas morning!  It was so much fun this year hearing Kali and Hoyt talk about Santa and how many days until Santa was coming!!!  They were a little disappointed to see our Elf on the Shelf, named Gift leave!  I let them both give him a hug on Christmas Eve night because it would be 11 months until we would see him again!  They were excited to finally touch him! :) If anyone doesn't know about Elf on the Shelf, the kids are not supposed to touch him or the elf will lose its magic!!!  So, the kids felt very special to give Gift a hug!

Christmas morning Hoyt's favorite gift from Santa would have been his swords or his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle shell and Kali's would have been her American Girl Doll (Our Generation from Target) and her AMG doll bed.  They LOVED them!!!

On Christmas day we headed to Grandma Holub's house to have our Roseberry Family Christmas and this would be our last Christmas of the season! :)  We had a wonderful dinner!!! Good Job Mom!!!

On the Roseberry side every other year we do a grab bag exchange.  If your a guy you buy a guy gift and a girl, you buy a girl gift!  We did a lot more stealing this year which made it more fun!  I think Chad got his gift stolen at least 4 or 5 times!  It was a lot of fun!  I ended up stealing the gift I bought!!  :)

 

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!  I love Christmas, but I'm also very glad when it is all over!!! :)

Washburn Christmas!

Yes, I know I'm very behind on my blogging....but it's not entirely my fault, I was having blog issues with uploading my photos, but now I'm back on track!

We celebrated the Washburn Family Christmas on Christmas Eve.  We had a great time with our family!!!  Grandma Dolores sure spoiled the little kids as well as us BIG kids this year.  I think Kali received a complete wardrobe!!!  I sure can't wait until we can wear the same size!!  Hoyt also got a lot of clothes and some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys...HE LOVED THEM!!!

Kali also lost her 8th tooth on Xmas Eve!!!  Clint pulled another tooth with ease!  Thank goodness...I still haven't had to pull a tooth out yet!!! So, both the Tooth Fairy and Santa visited our house on Christmas Eve!!!  How lucky can one girl be!?!?!
