Fun in the Sun!!

A few pictures from Sunday 6/3/2012.  Daddy was still out of town, so he missed out on my good cooking and hanging out with family!  Yes, it is true...I grilled....I don't do it very often as Chad is the master griller! :)

Tasha and Brian took Kali to see that new Snow White movie that is out!  Kali of course LOVED IT!  Tasha and Brian always are so very thoughtful to invite Kali!  It makes Kali feel so special!

Brianna put hair ties in Hoyt's hair....he loved it!

Sunday evening resting on the hammock! Ahhhhh!

Laura, Mom, and I headed out for a night on the town for a belated Birthday celebration.  What a nice night...great conversation and most importantly uninterrupted talks.  It was a lot of fun!  It was much needed and appreciated.  Thank you Tasha and Brian for watching the kiddos!

Saturday, Reese turned 6 years old and Kindra and Shawn had a wonderful and exciting day of events planned to celebrate the occasion.  We started the day at a splash pad.

Reese and Kali

Azaria and Hoyt

Hoyt wasn't a BIG fan of the splash pad, but he sure liked working with Kali to get Sissy wet!!!  Can't be at a splash pad and not have a water fight! :)

After the splash pad, we headed to have lunch at Gma Washburn's house.  Then the kids road Babe, one of Kindra and Shawn's horses.

The kids also got tattoos, did make overs, caught lightening bugs, had smores and told ghost stories by the camp fire and then Kali got to stay the night in a motor home!  It was a wonderful day full of fun events.  The kids had a BLAST!!!

On Sunday, Jill invited us to her parent's house to go swim.  It was a wonderful day to hang out by the pool.  Hoyt didn't like the water that much the first time, but the 2nd time he seemed to enjoy it more. Kali on the other hand was a little fish.  She had so much fun.  Thanks Jill!!!

Hoyt got a little sleepy in my arms so we put him on a raft in the shade and he was a happy camper!!!

I LOVE SUMMER!!!!  There is always something fun going on!!!!

Weekend Fun

Friday the kids and I hung out since Daddy was out of town working all weekend.  The kids help me plant some flowers in our pots.  We have been wanting to do this for a while but just never got around to it.  Kids having some cocktails after all their work!!!  They actually were very helpful!

Saturday we all went to Katelyn's soft ball tournement.  Katelyn won both of her games against Xavier.  She had a double and a couple singles.  Good Job Katelyn!!!

Saturday night we had a graduation party at Bloomsbury Farm!  The kids had a BLAST playing on all the activities and seeing the animals.

My friend/co-worker, Sandy and her husband John and sister Rhonda!!

This last picture was taken in the dark and Hoyt was already in his pj's ready for the ride home.  I thought for sure both kids would be sleeping by the time we got home...but they both were awake.  But, it didn't take them long once we got home to fall asleep.  We had such a good time!!

Fun Times

Sorry, it has been a while since my last post.  We have been busy in May with lots of fun parties, graduations, tball, and play dates.

Happy 1st birthday to our friend, Erica's, little boy, Eli!  The kids had a great time playing with all of the other kids.

Kali's last tball game was Tuesday May 29th.  It is amazing how much each player on the team improved from the very first game.  We really enjoyed watching Kali play tball.  It was very comical and entertaining.  We had so many family and friends come and watch Kali and we soooooooo very much appreciated it.

These are pictures from her last two games!

On Memorial Day weekend, we had a play date with our good friend Jill, and her kids Kathryn and Tayten...which was long over due!  Laura, Jackson, CJ, and Ben were also able to join in on the fun!  It was so nice hanging out with great moms and their kiddos!!!!

Kathryn and Kali just finished their makeovers and Ben developed a special fondness with Kathryn!

Below is a picture of Ben!

CJ and Hoyt!  CJ loved grandma Dolores's dog, Shamrock!

We also went to Brian's girlfriend's daughter, Emily's graduation party.  She graduated from Jefferson High school.  It was a great time, however I didn't take any pictures because there was a pond at the house and it was a small feat to keep Hoyt away!

Daddy put up the Hammock and both kids fell asleep on it over the long weekend.  Hoyt had already been carried into bed when I thought of taking the picture.

Hoyt taking a bath with Daddy and wearing Daddy's necklace!  Had to share...thought it was a cute pic!
