Today on Valentines Day, Brianna was helping a family friend, deliver flowers for his business Covington & Company.  She said it was a lot of fun and nice to make everyone she delivered to happy!!!

Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH Brianna!!!!  I love them and they are so very beautiful!!!

Last Swimming Lesson

Saturday February 9th, was Kali, Jackson, and Hoyt's last session for their swimming lessons until probably next fall.  Kali and Jackson did not pass level 3 but they improved incredibly!!!  They were amazing to watch and their improvements in 6 weeks was outstanding.  They can swim 15 ft unassisted, tread water for 30 seconds in deep end, started to learn out to dive, learned back stroke.  Great Job!!!  Now we can't wait until summer to show off what they have learned!!!

Hoyt did an awesome job too!!!  He will go to level 1 after he turns 3 years old and be able to do his lessons on his own.  We probably won't get back into lessons until next fall also.  With spring and summer coming, we just have too much fun stuff planned!!! :)

Snow Day, Superbowl, Smarter, & Special

Wednesday 1/30/2013, Kali had a snow day, Mommy was able to work from home, and over lunch we were able to play in the snow for a little bit when the wind died down.  This is CPU's 4th snow day for the 2012/2013 school year!  I think now they are going into the first Monday in June!

On Superbowl Sunday, Hoyt came away with his 1st shiner.  We didn't notice it until Monday morning!!! My poor little guy!!!  The pictures didn't really do it justice...it looked worse in person!!

I know...I know...he still has his paci....but only when he sleeps at night!!!  Goal: By 3rd birthday Hoyt will be pacifier free...night night, as Hoyt calls it!!!

On Monday February 4th, Kali is now 100 days smarter as she celebrated their 100th day of school!!!  Doesn't she look cute all dressed up as an old person!!! :)

Kali had a very special day on Wednesday, February 6th, she received an award "For Being Responsible by following Directions."  Once a month, they have a Character Award Assembly at the Primary School and the students get recognized.  The award is a surprise to the student until their name is announced at the assembly, however the teachers send the parents a notification prior to the assembly so you can attend.  Along with getting recognized they also get to eat lunch with the principal Mrs. Wooldridge.  Each month is a different character and each student can only get 1 award for the school year.  Last year Kali won the Caring award.  We are so very proud of Kali that she won this Responsibility award however, Chad and I both asked Kali if she can following directions at school, why doesn't she follow directions at home too! :)

All the Kindergartners that received the award!

We are so very proud of you Kali!!!! We love you!!!
