Donuts with Dad

On Thursday, October 9th, The PTO offered Donuts with Dads.  Kali and Hoyt were very excited to eat breakfast with Dad at the school that day.  I thought it was a very great idea and I was glad Chad was able to go.

CPU Homecoming

The kids went to the CPU Homecoming football game and had a blast!! Kali was running around in the end zone with all her friends and Hoyt was break dancing and doing his Ninja Turtle moves.  It was hilarious.  There was a group of kids surrounding him in a circle, yelling his name.  Hoyt loved the attention.  Girls were putting him on their shoulders like he was the champion of the world!! One girl came up to me and said, "Your son is a STAR!!!!"

I had a great time watching the kids have so much fun, however I didn't get to watch much of the game!!! :)

Hoyt is no longer scared of Stormin Normin!!!

Above picture was taken on Kali and Hoyt's school picture day!!!

Jackson's Birthday was September 18th and he turned 8 years old!!! Happy Birthday Jackson!!

Cheer Clinic 9/12/2014

Kali performed in a Cheer Clinic to support CPU Cheerleading on Friday 9/12/2014.  She has done this every year since Kindergarten.  Typically, the night of the game/performance is nice weather, but this year it was super cold, but at least it didn't rain.

Kali had a fun time.  She was a little nervous that they only had Thursday night to learn the cheers and dance.  Kali did great!!!

Aunt Savannah and Kali

The sun got in the way of this pic.  I tried to edit it, but didn't work very well!

Uncle Brian does the chains for CPU football, so he was able to watch Kali perform!!!

Hoyt started Wrestling!!!

Hoyt started wrestling a couple weeks ago in mid September. HE LOVES IT!!!  He goes twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Hoyt is by far the youngest and smallest in this 2 month session. However, when the actual season starts, I'm sure there will be more kids his age and size.  He really works hard and listens to the coach.  Chad is amazed how he has caught on to some of the moves.  I have only gone to one practice.  When I went to Hoyt's practice, it  was so funny while wrestling he would  say, "Mom, take my picture!" It was so cute.....then while conditioning and running his laps, he would stop and give me a quick kiss.  I thought it was adorable!!!

Hoyt really likes that he is doing an activity.  He has always watched his sister perform in all of her sports, so now he is finally doing something he likes to do!!

Hoyt continues to tell Chad that he wants a trophy!  Chad tells him that the trophies are earned and with practice and work maybe he will get one.  We are going to start off slow, and probably only get Hoyt in a couple tournaments...so we will keep you posted when they are.

Hoyt running with the heavy bag.  Chad said it weighs about 15 lbs.

I'm sure I will have many more pics of Hoyt wrestling! :)

Soccer

Kali had a great fall season in soccer.  She is very aggressive, quick, and loves competing.  Sh really does understand the game.  I think she scored a goal in every game and some games she even scored 2 goals.  There was one game she even scored a goal for the other team!!! LOL.  She said, "I don't know why the goalie didn't block that kick."  :)  It was a great season and Kali had a lot of fun!!!

SCORE!!!!!!  GO KALI!!!

Thanks for all the family who came and watched Kali.  We really appreciated it!!!  I didn't do as good taking pictures of all the family that came to watch Kali this season.  I'll do better in the future!
