Tasha and Brian Barkdoll's Wedding

On Saturday October 6th Tasha and Brian got married in Dubuque at the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.  Despite, it being a little chilly, it was a beautiful ceremony.  Kali and Reece were the flower girls, Hoyt was the ring bearer, and Savannah was the Maid of Honor.

Adorable!!!

Grandma Dolores giving the kiddos a little pep talk before they walked down the ailes.

The kids did amazing walking down the ailes!!  We were so proud!

Chad had the honor of walking the beautiful bride, Tasha, down the ailes.  It was quite emotional!  Kali was sitting in the row a head of me and had tears plus mascara rolling down her cheeks.  After the wedding, when I asked her why she had cried, she said, because my daddy was crying.  How touching!!!  There were no tears for Mr. Hoyt, through half of the ceremony, he kept saying, "Daddy Deer" and pointing. There were no deer that I saw only a frog....so not sure what Hoyt was looking at.  I had to revert to his binky to plug the talker up so that we could actually hear the ceremony!!!

The happy couple!!

Kali, Hoyt, and Isabella

After a long day, and a couple pictures, Hoyt was no longer interested in sitting still for any more pictures.  So, we attempted at a family picture, but didn't succeed.

The flower girls, on the other hand, never got tired of getting their pictures taken! :)

Always have to include a silly picture!!

The wedding was beautiful and elegant!  However, all wonderful days must come to an end!  We wish the best of luck to Brian and Tasha.  They are an amazing couple!  Congratulations!  We love you and thank you for having our family share in your special day!!

CPU Homecoming Parade

Kali was in her first parade for CPU Homecoming on Wednesday 10/3/2012.  She was on the CPU Xplosion Dance float. Here are a few pictures with some of her dance mates.

Hoyt waiting patiently for some candy!

The Triplets and Jackson enjoyed the parade!  It was a gorgeous night to be outside!

You can kind of see Kali, she is on the bottom row right in the middle, but a pom pom is kind of covering her face!  The other picture I took the pom pom was right in her face...at least we were standing on the correct side!  I was worried about that!!!  Kali had a wonderful time in the parade.  Dancing and cheering is right up her alley!

Kali's Cheer Clinic

On Thursday September 20th, Kali participated in a cheer/dance clinic put on by the CPU Cheerleaders.  Then they would perform during the half time of the JV football game on Friday.  Kali loves to perform and she enjoys hanging out with her friends, so I knew she would enjoy it.  Kali had such a good time.

Aunt Savannah came over in the morning to do Kali's hair.  Which made Kali feel extra special!

Kali, Lily, Zoey, and Hoyt!

Kali did a GREAT JOB!  I didn't get any pictures of her actually perform because I was video taping it for Daddy since he wasn't able to be there.  But, Kali did amazing.  I even got tears in my eyes watching her perform because she was having so much fun!!!!!

On Saturday, we took Jackson, Kali, and Hoyt to my niece's softball game in North Liberty!!!  Taylor played very well and her team won the tournament!!  YAH TAYLOR!!!!!  For some reason I didn't get any pictures of Taylor actually playing, but I did get a couple pictures of Fred, Hoyt, and Jackson playing football!!

Also, on Saturday, Brianna's boyfriend, Clint was auctioneering for a benefit in Center Point.  The kids enjoyed watching Clint do his thing! :)  Clint did a really good job!!!  Kali and Hoyt both won fishing poles.  How lucky were they...or I guess for me...since they both won!!!!  That doesn't happen very often!!!

On Monday 9/24/2012, we went to Taylor's volleyball game!!!  I did get some pictures of Taylor! :)  Taylor played really well and they won every match.  Good thing we went on Monday to watch Taylor play because she sprained her ankle on Thursday's game...poor Taylor!!!

Hoyt loves talking to the ladies!!!
