On Superbowl Sunday, Hoyt came away with his 1st shiner. We didn't notice it until Monday morning!!! My poor little guy!!! The pictures didn't really do it justice...it looked worse in person!!
I know...I know...he still has his paci....but only when he sleeps at night!!! Goal: By 3rd birthday Hoyt will be pacifier free...night night, as Hoyt calls it!!!
On Monday February 4th, Kali is now 100 days smarter as she celebrated their 100th day of school!!! Doesn't she look cute all dressed up as an old person!!! :)
Kali had a very special day on Wednesday, February 6th, she received an award "For Being Responsible by following Directions." Once a month, they have a Character Award Assembly at the Primary School and the students get recognized. The award is a surprise to the student until their name is announced at the assembly, however the teachers send the parents a notification prior to the assembly so you can attend. Along with getting recognized they also get to eat lunch with the principal Mrs. Wooldridge. Each month is a different character and each student can only get 1 award for the school year. Last year Kali won the Caring award. We are so very proud of Kali that she won this Responsibility award however, Chad and I both asked Kali if she can following directions at school, why doesn't she follow directions at home too! :)
All the Kindergartners that received the award!
We are so very proud of you Kali!!!! We love you!!!
