We have a little bet going on at our house this week...Daddy promised Kali a kitten if she could sleep 7 days in a row in her own bed. I'm all about bribing my kids. :) The first night, Kali got herself all worked up and didn't think she was ready to do take that BIG step....even though she wanted a kitten in the worst way...However, as of today, Kali has slept in her own bed the last 3 nights. So, it is looking pretty good for Kali. Hoyt has been sleeping with Kali in her bed too....so I have had the whole bed to myself since Chad is working out of town....It has been ages since this has happened!!!! We told Kali, once/if she does complete this bet, she will have to continue sleeping in her own bed and she said she was fine with it as long as the new kitten gets to sleep in her room with her. I hope she succeeds!!!! It's a win/win for the entire family!
Last week, Aunt Tasha and Brian took Kali to see Ice Age. Kali really enjoyed the movie and loves spending time with Tasha and Brian. Thank you so much guys!!! You always make Kali feel so special!!!
Last week, Kali and Hoyt were really interested in building forts with blankets. Really, I don't think you need to buy toys for kids, they enjoy the simple things.
The above fort, Kali did all by herself, the below fort, I helped build. Kali and Hoyt were very impressed on mommy's skills! :)
